Which cosplayer/cosplayer photographer does not wish to have beautiful backdrop and scenes for their outdoor shoots?! But alas, this is Singapore....
Dar brought to my attention the Cosplay section on deviantart and there I was marvelling at beautiful forests, vast landscape, old churches, crystal clear lakes, golden falls, winter wonderlands and pink blossoms.... And of coz wonderful PS skills and lighting control.. Sobbx.. Ahbu needs to improve..
And guess what I found...
SHUAI GE!!!! So shuai lahz! *fangirls* *hyperventilates* *faints* But I think the cosplayer is female.. haha.. ahzzuuuuu, I want shuai ge~~~~!!!!!!
Of course, I was very happy to find one of my own works on the 3rd page of "All time" Cosplay favourites..

In less than a few hours time, ahbu will be as old as ananab.. And let me just clarify, ahbu has no 21st birthday party.. So if you are wondering about not receiving/ receiving invitations, don't worry.. There's NO PARTY!
Aiya, it's just like any other birthday lohz.. Plus, I don't wanna so ma fan invite, organise and have everybody crowd at my house. Just let it be like any other birthdays I had before...
Anyway, thanks yn, zx and Jessie for this book and the crazy, laughter-filled evening yesterday.. Jessie is seriously a joker without even meaning to.. Read yn's blog for more juicy info and spastic pictures..
All fans of John Grogan and Marley & Me would love this book! Don't be mistaken, this is not another account of an animal Grogan had. It's just compilations of stories from his column in his paper. I think Grogan did a great job with Marley & Me, especially in writing a cliche animal-human-relationship story in a crafty and humorous way. Though I have not started reading this book, but I'm sure it'll be a good one!
And yayyy! CNY is coming!!! I shall take the holiday to finish some back-logged work, especially in photo-editing, and also to meet up with friends! Can't wait for the steamboat lunch at ostaf's this Saturday! Stupid ananab went to pluck his wisdom teeth close to the CNY period.. I wonder if he can still eat.. -.-" And oh, with the ps peeps on Saturday evening too! Saturday will be busy busy busy!

After Tuesday's MBio tutorial and 1 hour lab, ahbu met Meeekeeee for lunch while waiting for Empress-sama (ahzu) to arrive. We were supposedly meeting her at 12pm but she was an hour late coz she was putting on her fake eyelashes. -.-"
Ahzu came in a TAXI though her house is 2 bus-stops away from school because her make-up was very thick and it made her look like a retard. -.-" After all the talking cock and waiting for her to change, the shoot finally started. And thanks to Miki for the lighting arrangement and advice, the photos turned out unexpectedly well. Wow, this is what our 3 strobes can do!
Ahzu cleverly made it to look like a CD lyrics album. (Note: #3 is "Saving Aoi" AGAIN! lol)
This is my favourite from the shoot. The lighting is so good...
She looks so different, right?! She looks different in every costume she does lahz! I was showing her pictures on my camera after some shots and she was like "OMG! I don't look like myself!!! So scary!"
This is one of my favourites too! I like the warm ember tone...
After Reira, ahzu did a test shoot for her Kaname from Vampire Knight (yea, she brought 2 costumes). During the shoot, we were all amused over how she looked like Hei (DtB) and how her wig was weird.. lol..
But there is a photo I like..
I love the lighting! Thanks Miki again! It made her look like a dollife/puppet.. lol!
Overall, it was a satisfying shoot! I had fun and learned more about studio lighting too! =D

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Ahbu took a blood screening test today for Hep B coz the school requires us to take Hep B and Tetanus jab for LAST next semester, where we'll be working with rats. I hate to do blood screening coz the last time I did it, the nurse poked me in the arm 4-5 times and was unable to locate my vein...
Today, I saw that the lab at cck polyclinic has specialised technicians who are just only in-charge of taking blood all day. So I thought that this time I would be safe! But but but.. The technician poked the needle in and TWIST TWIST TWIST but no dark red fluid flowed into the tube. ARGH! And she kept asking me "Pain anot?" when she TWIST TWIST TWIST the needle underneath my skin. Of course it hurts lahz! So I suggested that she take blood from the prominent vein on the back of my palm. She took a butterfly tube with a needle and the blood flowed through fast enough. But coz the vein is small, she caused a horrible hematoma. Half of the back of my hand is bluish-green now and has a horrible arching.. ARGH!
New year resolution: Try to make my vein more prominent for future blood taking.
P.S.: Luckily, I'm not studying to be a human doctor or nurse. If not, I would definitely suffer from the blood-taking practical where they practice by taking blood from each other.
