Tudou rocks! It even has this super old drama first produced in 1995! I don't know how many of you watched this before coz this drama is very very old. It's first screened when I was just 7. Yea, back than Channel 8 had such wonderful dramas.
This is by my favourite actor 王田裁 and Fann Wong. It's of the supernatural/ romance genre. It's only a 5 episode short story! Do watch it!
In modern Singapore (1995), Fann Wong is a product/studio photographer (back then they were still using MEDIUM FORMAT and develop prints in the darkroom lahz!) and she is tasked to shoot this antique mirror which has a history 50 years back. She instantly fell in love with it and many strange happening revealing their past lives occurred. A story about 前世今生.. If you believe in it..
It has a very nice song too! 一千零一夜!
Oh mianz.. Why am I watching this?! I am supposed to be studying AIMM!!! Luckily, this is only 5 episodes.. Hehe!
Natsu Matsuri 2008

I went to Natsu Matsuri this year with Alfred. I was in the same yukata I wore last year (with a different hairstyle though) while Alfred wore the male one I bought last year at a summer sales when I was in Kumamoto. (Alfred looks like a Japanese geek don't you think? LOL!)
This year, IT RAINED!!! So there was no Bon Odori and it was damn crowded indoors where the booths were (coz everybody took shelter indoors).. T-T But well, I got my water-balloon yo-yo! Black this year! I should make ahbu take a photo with it..
I did meet up with quite a number of people from TP and SgCafe.. I saw Feli, who tried to pull my yukata off.. She amuses me as much as always.. haha! I saw more SgCafe photogs than cosplayers though! Haha.. All asked me whether I brought my camera while they are lugging theirs around.. But Alfred had his D70s though.. Didn't get to see Vic though..
So I stayed about 2-3 hours at the school, having fun while the rest of the world was mugging for MGen exam (which is tomorrow!!!) I had some sms and calls asking me MGen questions.. >-< I feel so guilty not mugging..
What made our day must be this.. We wore our "costumes" on the public transport home.. So we were on this SBS bus when we noticed there was this lady who kept looking at us.. Then, she walked up to us and said....
Lady: "Nihon-jin desu ka?" (Translation: Are you Japanese?)
Me and Alfred: *STUNNED FOR A MOMENT* (We understood what she said but at that moment, we were just too stunned to answer.)
Alfred:"No."
Lol.. He said it in such a crisp and straight-forward way that I think we dashed her hopes.. Thinking back, I should have answered her in Jap ("iie, singaporu-jin desu" Translation: No, we are Singaporeans. ).. Oh mianz.. Where did my Jap CDS go to?!
Well, that was something amusing to bring back from this year's festival! =)

I love this song! So cute lahz! I know I've been living in a well and is very outdated.. This song is from 周杰伦's 十一月的簫邦 which was released eons again.. But I just happen to hear the song recently and got hooked onto it!
The MV sorta reminded me of something silly and childish I did a very long time ago.. I'm glad that we have both moved on and that he has since forgiven me.. =)
ARGGGHHH!!! Suddenly, I wanna go kbox! (I know sound.. not ahbu-ish.. but it's true!) But I guess yn and zx would be busy with school when my holidays arrive next week (after all my exams!).. ROARS! Why do our timetables clash all the time!?

I can't help but blog this.. We went to take some neoprints today.. I decided to edit one of it and....

Ok, I.AM.BORED.FROM.MUGGING! yeah..
And today, I walked past my dry box and discovered that my camera bag is covered in a layer of dust..(my camera bag sits on top of my dry box) -.-" That is how long I haven't shot.. ROARS! I miss my 40D! But then again, I already booked for weekends in Sept after my exams! (and even for EoY -.-") Yayyyy..

Finally, the torture of having to complete a drawing every week on top of all the quizzes and tutorials ended.. I'm glad that I managed to get an overall A for my consistent work if not all my effort and time would have been wasted.. And that A marks the third A/Z for my three CDS options! haha.. I'm glad I chose all of them correctly!

You have no idea how horrendous this was.. 101 perspectives of my camera.. Some people chose simple objects such as a toy or a clock.. I chose something more complicated so that I have more things to draw.. But nearing the 80th square, you really have NOTHING to draw that you have to rack your brains thinking of "what else?"
I thought the Bonsai was nice but I only got a B+
ahbu! We took a photo of ourselves and drew ourselves!

This is the final assignment where it's a conceptual piece to combine 2 references together. This piece is called "Flightless takes Flight".
Besides the A3 size drawings we were supposed to complete each week, there's also a A5 sketchbook that we were supposed to complete through the whole course.. Of course, I didn't finish the whole book but majority of it.. Here are some of the sketches I like..

Haiz~ The ending of the CDS means the semester is ending and the exams are coming! Sorry that I'm not turning up for gatherings and rejecting so many shoots.. It's because the exams are coming!!!! I will be more free in September during my holidays.. =)
