comic connection sucks!

Went for kbox with zx and yn today! Think zx and ahbu destroyed 六色彩虹 and 青花瓷 is really hard to sing.. coz the lyrics are too cheem to read..
After that, I went over to Tenchi Comics to find LoveCom vol. 17.. Turned out that it IS OUT ALREADY!!!!! But Tenchi doesn't have any stock.. So I decided to fork out $2.20 to read the copy they have at the reading corner.. OTANI IS SO MUCH LOVE!!!<33 After reading, I'm even more determined to own it.. I'm gonna buy the whole set if I ever set foot on Taiwan again.. muhahaha.. But for now, I would be satisfied with just vol. 17..
So I decided to check out the cck Comics Connection on my way home.. When I asked the counter about it, this was what happened..
ahbu:"请问有没有Lovely Complex? err.. 恋爱情结?"
Counter staff:"Huh? 什么?" (I totally can see the "huh? 蝦咪" face..)
ahbu:"err.. Lovely Complex. LoveCom."
The counter staff bought me to the shelf and pointed to a "Lovey Dovey" series..
ahbu: *shakes head*
Counter staff:"对不起hor.. 不是这个就没听过了.."
WTF?!?! HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE LOVECOM!??!?! IT'S SUCH A GOOD SERIES!!!!! rarrrr!!!! I NEEDA GO KINO!!!!!

I thought she was doing Sakura.. I mean she is always doing female characters!! Then she said she is cosplaying SYAORAN! I totally went O.O!!!! MY SYAORAN! MY MY SYAORAN!!!! RAWWRRR.. and in my FAVOURITE costume of all time somemore.. Since it's feli, I shall place some faith in you.. I'm glad Vic is doing Sakura.. PLEASE DON'T SPOIL MY FAVOURITE MALE CHARACTER OF ALL ETERNITY!!! YOU BETTER NOT COSFUCK HIM OR I'LL KILL YOU PERSONALLY!!!

YAYYYY! I'm done with exams! Let's not talk about it.. Let's talk about LOVELY COMPLEX! whee~~ ya I managed to finish it.. And here's the review (of both the anime and movie) I promised!
This how they look in the anime.. In the anime, Otani-kun is actually much much shorter than Risa..
I know I seldom watch Shoujo animes but THIS IS AN EXPECTION! Like this is omg-good lahz! I think the last shoujo anime I watched was like Ouran?!?!?! (which was damn long ago) I think I laughed more for LoveCom more than Ouran lahz.. It's really really very funny
and stupid but uber sweet at the same time.. It's just not like those ラブ,ラブ animes you would expect.. And what's more, every character speaks Kansai-ban! (coz the story took place in Osaka) which is very unique in Jap animes.. I love Otani's "Chow, chow!" and Risa's "iiyaya".. Even "DONDAKE!" appeared! haha..
dondake is not really Kansai-ban but well..
LMAO.. I laughed so much..
The artist is really good at drawing stupid faces.. lol
The plot is quite typical.. Yes, they finally end up together BUT even when they are together they are not all ラブ,ラブ but still bickering with each other! Haha.. I like the process how Risa never gave up and how Otani eventually fell in love with her..
Though the art is not that perfect but I find that OTANI-KUN IS UBER CUTE!!!!! Probably because of his character ba.. He's so bubbly, shy, random AND KAWAIII!!! The personality of this character is very well-developed! RISA, I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU LOVE HIM SO MUCH! \o/
Let's soak in Atsushi-kun's cuteness~~~
I love his board grins and his blushes..
There's this really HOT sensei in the anime..
But in the movie.. zzz..
Yoyorshi-QUEEENN.. -.-"
But I like Suzuki-kun and his hormonal nose-bleed in the movie.. darn cute! He's nothing like that in the anime.. haha
Though the movie's shorten plot is not as perfect as the anime, I still like how they wrapped up the essence of it.. It managed to show Otani's dumbness and his ultra dense brain but not much of Risa's determination..
I really admire how the movie directors actually went all the effort to make the characters look nearly 100% like the drawings.. Even all the way down to the accessories! Really good cosplay! What's imperfect might just be the hair colour..
What's more Teppei Koike actually LOOKS EERILY LIKE OTANI! And he actually managed to act A-chan's uber cute personality! Probably that's why I loved him so much when I watched the movie before completing the anime.. A-chan is so much love!

This anime/movie is so KAWAIIII! You can get really HIGH watching it.. Please at least watch the movie if you don't have the time.. Thanks Ogawa-chan for recommending me this anime =)

yesh, I'm officially crazy over this series I love Otani's sweetness in the manga..
This girl is suggesting that they break up for xxx (find out for yourself) reason but Otani went, "才不要, 我不准.!" He does show his love in very subtle ways.
I so wanna read the last book of the manga lahz.. Vol 17 is already out in Japan last September but IT'S NOT EVEN OUT IN TAIWAN YET!!!! %&*%*&(^$^& I managed to find this scan online which made me even more determined to read the last vol..
Please tell me if you managed to find the rest of the scans for vol 17!!!!!!

Brain cells are non-renewing cells with a permanent G0 phase and I think I'm losing them one by one via apoptosis..
Arghhhh!! I've been studying for the whole day watching only ONE episode of LoveCom.. It's such a good anime I can watched up to 3-4 episodes a day xD It's tiring me out..
I realised haven't been shooting for 2 weeks that I miss my shutter sound so very muchly!!! Believe it or not, I have been shooting EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND ever since EoY 07- be it Cosplay or not..
I have been rejecting photoshoots from random Tom, Dick and Harrys who PM-ed me asking for photoshoot during February (which I reserved solely for MUGGING) or even March for that matter.. I've decided not to anyhow accept photoshoots unless I somehow know that cosplayer and thinks he/she wouldn't spoil my lens, lest ahzu laughs at me for randomly accepting photoshoots again..
Talking about ahzu, her Lu Xun rocks! <333 I would have went if it wasn't for my freaking exams.. argghh! I hope Wednesday comes faster or maybe not since I need more time to mug.. Then, off to Kbox with yn and zx on Thursday! whee~~
Wakayama Day 4
Last batch of photos before I can make my way to the developing shop!
First itinerary of the day was to visit a snow covered mountain.. But apparently there was too much snow that the road was blocked so we could only stop at around 3/4 way up the mountain.. Well, there was still snow there!!

My mind simply can't think of better captions than snow in 3 different languages.. lol
This house was obviously inhabited as we found no tracks in the snow (It was pure smooth soft white snow!) The family probably moved off to some place warmer for the winter holidays.. An irony that we are from a warm country coming to experience this snow they wanted to avoid..
After the snowy mountain, we went off to visit 2 castles- Wakayama and Osaka castles
This was the road leading to the Wakayama main castle..
The clouds and sky were especially cooperative whenever I shoot castles..
Maybe it's because Japan generally has better and nicer-looking skies than Singapore.. lol
Ah, this is the Osaka castle taken from across a pond.. I like the reflection of the sky in the waters.. Thanks to our tour guide who brought us to this spot to take this photo!

That was the 3rd castle I've been to in Japan.. But I still think Kumamoto Castle is still the prettiest! =)
Yesh, another shrine.. But this shrine is different from the rest in that it has more of a Chinese-Taoist influence than the normal Japanese-Shinto shrines we have previously been too..

KAIMONO!!!!! As our tour guide always say, "为国争光，把钱花光光!" lol.. But I guess in some sense it's true since spending helps boost the economy lol..
There were so many stores with pretty, kawaii stuff! And it happens a lot when I know a bit of basic Japanese when it comes to shopping..
TP's useless Jap CDS actually helps.. lol.. But I wouldn't be able to understand Kansai-ban (Osaka is in Kansai region) though I know they are speaking it.. My sis bought like S$100+ of cosmetics at a departmental store.. Boots were going on sales at 2000yen each but my sis bought this 2999yen brown boots.. The 2000yen ones were all HIGH heels.. I only bought tabis and an overall-like skirt.. Oh, and there were shops selling wigs too!
What's a trip to Osaka without taking this pic?! Haha.. The pic of that running man is always shown during lectures when Osaka is mentioned..
And what's a trip to Osaka without.. TAKOYAKI~~!! The one on the right was as big as my fist lahz.. It was selling at 300yen and contains more ingredients than the normal sized ones (left)..

I finally finished processing the pics! Whee~~ But sian tomorrow is the start of exams, starting with BMic paper, which happen to be my weakest subject.. I don't see the point learning about microorganisms when we are Vets.. I bet I can't get A for this subject le.. Haiz~~ There goes my 3.9..
Though I am busy mugging for papers, I can't help but keep watching Lovely Complex (Anime).. It really GOOODDD!! Otani-kun is uber cute!!!! <333 I shall give a review when I finish the series.. But now back to Bmic.. zzz
Wakayama Day 3
I am so bored from studying that I even thought that processing photos is more interesting!
There were seagulls while we were departing from our hotel in Day 2.. When I saw them, I quickly wiped out my 70-200mm to shoot this..
After that, went to a marine museum.. The lighting inside was so bad I couldn't be bothered to shoot.. But there was an outdoor area where there were sea turtles!
Up for a breather..
After that we went underwater! haha.. No lahz.. It was an observation tower built such that you can peer into the sea through glass windows..

This was lunch! Look at the HUGE plate of sashimi! We were so sick of raw meat already that we dumped all the fish into the boiling claypot.. lol..
It would be better if it was sunrise/sunset.. Then, I would be able to capture the sun in that hole in the middle of the rocks..
Next, we visited yet another shrine.. But what is unique about this shrine is that it's under ground! In a cave 300m below sea level!
The lanterns are from families/companies who gave donations, hoping to be blessed all year round..

Ah, if Singapore has such nice gardens, we wouldn't need to go to Chinese Gardens for (cosplay) photoshoots all the time..

Anyway, WATCH LOVELY COMPLEX LIVE ACTION MOVIE!!!!!
This was actually a anime with the same name- Lovely Complex.. The movie kept the unrealistic, exaggerated and cute essence of the anime so it's kinda a comedy.. It helps when the actors actually look and act like the characters.. Really good cosplay lol! The plot's really cute and the male lead is even cuter! >-< Teppei Koike is starring as Otani!!! OMG! He's so darn cute!
The story's about this tall girl (Koizumi) who fell for this shorter guy (Otani- even their names have opposite meaning to their heights!) who was always bickering with her.. However, as the girl is taller they have to overcome stereotypic views in order to be together.. Though the anime story plot is more elaborate, the movie is as great! <3 Trailer at the official site!

This is the sweetest part.. He kissed her.. TIPTOEING!!! damn cute.. The camera even focused on his foot.. Then he was like,"Can you at least smile?" She in utter shocked replied,"That tasted like fried noodles.." LOLOLOL..
Not to mention that Teppei Koike is a great eye candy!! HE'S REALLY CUTE! Not the shuai shuai kind but the really really cute kind..
