Feli finshed her A levels last Thursday and was so free that she asked me out on a bikini and yukata shoot last Sunday.. i was more interested in the yukata shoot than the bikini one.. she asked me to reached Sentosa at like 7am lahz.. wth.. so damn early.. i didn't want to wake up that early so i met her late at 11am instead when just nice my mum had to go collect my sis's edited gown at my ah ma's house which was near Harbourfront..

and because the shoot was in the afternoon, the lighting was rather sucky.. This was also my SPARKING NEW 17-55mm f2.8IS's maiden shoot.. This lens cost me my 4 months saving, which is a frigging $1500!! presenting my noobish photos..

we were on top of the tower on the Southermost Island off Palawan Beach when this couple with their 3 lovely ahbus- 2 BIG Golden Retrievers and a Westland White Terrier- came trotting along..

In the evening, they changed into their yukata so it wasn't that hot.. Razor's (a pro photog) friend, Fiona joined in too! It's wonderful to have a Caucasian in traditional Asian clothes!

Manga Review!

I'm in the school library now because AAP tutoiral was postponed.. because i have Jap tutorial later.. because i am having a 3 hours break.. because....

arghhh!! i'm supposed to study since i have 2 quizzes this week and i told myself to look up whatever i don't understand from AAP lecture but i ended up HERE at the library's computer.. well at least i made it to the library.. BAHHH..

anyway, i was supposed to be studying on Sunday (finally a weekend with absolutely no activities) but i got too bored and went out to Comic Connection and spent 30BUCKS!! \o/!! why do all the books i collect have to come out all at the same time?!?!? btw, i bought Goong 15, BLOOD+ 3, Blood Alone 4 and Tusbasa 16.

like FINALLY Tsubasa 16 is out! it was published in Japan like almost half a year ago.. i bet chuang yi hestitated because of the part where Cloney ate Fye's eye! and chuang yi is such a bastard.. raise the price by 50cents and we are still deprived of lovely COLOUR splash pages.. I r loving Cloney so muchly but he NEVER appears.. not even in the latest installment.. (i shall rant about the latest installment which i read online; not in book 16) i'm just curious about the connection between Watanuki and Syaoran (the real one).. why did Syaoran said that they are closer than anyone else? and finally Marinah's Seishiro finally appears.. i got a feeling they'll go back to Clow after Nihon..

Goong 15 is a such disappointment especially after an ultra exciting book 14.. the pervertic author actually loves to see their sad/depressed expressions and that might explain the contents of book 15.. for zx who reads my blog, i shalln't spoil it for you.. GO BUY AFTER YOUR EXAMS!!

ok Blood Alone 4.. i was a bit surprised by the "Stop" sign on the cover coz the previous books weren't M18.. after i read then i realised that the M18 restriction is only due to one scene where 2 heads are sliced off the neck.. The plot in book 4 revolves around Kuroe's past and how he met Misaki.. i love his hairstlye when he's younger!!! oh mianz.. from his past, i think his affection for Misaki might only be that of a guardian.. hmmmxx.. i love vampire-human love stories..

ok the other vampire tale, BLOOD+.. blood+ has to be the best manga/anime of all time.. though the manga defers from the anime, it's still beautiful.. book 3 is so far the best coz it's the book where Saya's past is revealed.. (though i don't like the reason why George revealed it to them.. coz Kai forcefully want him to) there's a 5th Chevalier who is a Diva look alike.. at first i thought he was Diva in Riku form.. He was kinda irritating, playing with Riku's innoncene & eventually result in his "death".. but after knowing about his past, i kinda pity him.. Though the manga doesn't develop the characters as much as the anime, i like the fact that Haji and Saya are lovers before he was turned Chevalier!!! wheee~~ he even gave her a hair pin and kissed her!!! PERFECT!! better than some SayaxSolomon or SayaxKai pairing.. wahaha.. and arrgghh Kai is still such a wimp.. i hate his irrational bursts of anger.. at the end book 3, it's actually close to episode 33 of the anime already.. where Diva boards the ship and Riku gets raped..

YUNING! READ THE MANGA!! though you wouldn't get to see much of your Solomon.. BUT it's still so good!

CCN DAY!!

finally all the preparations was for this day and i'm glad we didn't make a lose! hahax at least we earned A BIT.. and i'm sooo glad that the magnificent malamutes came.. they proved to be a big draw!! but because there was a huge confusion, we had only photos that were supposed to be printed in one CF card at one time so the pics of the malamutes are GONE! but i shall shoot them at MnM again.. WHEE~~

even the principal came to take photos with our dogs! too bad ahzu wasn't in school, if not shizu can take a photo with shirley's or ailson's shih tzu.. LOL!! thanks all my classmates for bringing their pets! and these are some photos taken of my classmates and their pets at the end of the day which were fortunately saved into my CF card..

Raki is so irritating if not for him, Priscilla would have DIED! but i'm glad Isley didn't.. i like Isley! maybe it's his voice but he gives me this Fai+Ashura-ou (Tsubasa) feeling.. maybe i should read the manga.. xuan said the manga's better but he started with manga lahz! that's why he said managa is better.. I agree anime would have skipped a lot of stuff lahz..

anyone wondered if Clare's right arm would be in a weird orientation since Elena gave her her LEFT arm.. i mean our hands are not superimposable!! Well, it's an anime after all..

SKC Dog Show!

i can't believe i took one week to churn out the photos.. school's been rather busy, especially with all the CCN preparations and AAP's killing me!!! argh!!

so anyway, just some background of this event before i start posting the photos.. Singapore Kennel Club (SKC)held a public event last Sunday at the Singapore Expo and i was paid to cover this event for them.. That was my first time at a dog show.. I totally had no idea what would be happening but i totally enjoyed myself seeing all the beautiful and gorgeous ahbus! Hope my photos weren't that bad! >-< An Irish settler! this was the first time i spotted an Irish settler in Singapore! Her owner is an African Japanese who gave her commands in Japanese.. "Matte!" LOL!

A white Saymoid.. The owners of pedigrees at shows can be rather irritating.. She covered her dog's face after she discovered that some of us were taking photos of it! (i thought it was ok to shoot it since i saw a group doing so..)Like what Fifa said, "The dog might be a pedigree but it's owner behaves like a stray!"

Happy Birthday to Hinho, Ham and Shell who have having their birthdays today! ya i have 3 friends whose birthdays are on the SAME DAY (November 11, which is a nice date and code name of the contracter which ahzu adores in DtB.. i know you love Hei more lahz! LOL!!) and you can imagine how broke i would be.. haha! Hinho just landed this morning at like 12am lahz.. Finally back from his army stint in Taiwan.. hope to cya soon!
