the little things

i spent sssoo much money ice-skating and shopping yesterday, i decided to stay at home today.. couldn't stand the sight of untidy and messy room so did a packing and clean-up..

some of the toys i still have are so old and ancient that you might see them in the toy museum in bugis!! lol

i can't believe the amount of things i can still throw away despite doing a spring cleaning before the new year.. and i discovered i have a knack for storing rubbish.. macdonald coupons from 1993, broken sticks, BLUR photographs, pizza delivery receipts (i must have watched too much TMNT when i was young), primary school worksheets, polly pocket.....

jurong primary school song book.. this book can be placed in the school's achieve since the school already changed the logo and even the uniform! the crest is now non-existent, needless to say the old school song..

st. matthew's kindergarten class photo.. i changed 3 kindergartens so i practically don't know anyone from each kindergarten.. perhaps, i was rather shy and anti-social.. i can't remember.. but the shy and anti-social part is A BIT hard to imagine.. hahax.. to my dear blog readers, if you happen to see yourself or your friends in this photo, please kindly tell me.. thank you =)

i'm already an artist at primary 2!!! looking at my brother's (currently in sec2) art pieces, i realised i'm an art genuis.. wahahaha..

i'm a maths whizz too! wahhaha..

Nan Hua Sec School report card 2001.. i must be a freak in sec 1.. 100/100 for maths.. 20/20 for history.. besides English and English Lit, most of the marks are near full marks.. i wonder how my brother fails 7 out of his 9 subjects..

i realised i collected quite a number of pet-related articles over the years.. pet accupunture, animal abuse cases, pet grooming and other services.. oh mianz.. AVA should accept me!!!


letters from my friends!! yesh, we still write the conventional way even though emails exist.. that "report card" is actually a birthday card from ostaf and gang.. but for which year i forgot.. there are so many birthdays we celebrated together that i couldn't keep track.. they gave me F for IQ and Logic, U for English.. lol.. obviously to them, i lack IQ.. but my english is not that bad ok?! it's just my spelling sia.. i got B3 for GP!!! while ananab got C5!!! and yesh ananab, i'm mocking you!!! xD

some of these things matters to me at some point of time.. but as times goes by, they lose their importance and the meaning they carry.. that's probably why i still have so many things to clear even when i have cleared some of my stuff a few months ago..

next, on the other corner of my room is my manga collection!!!

sorry lazy to move the fan away.. this is not all though.. zx still owes me my jigoku shoujo series while yuning has the blood alone ones.. i'm running out of space for my mangas!!!!!

my anime/manga merchandise collection!!! not a lot since i only started buying at the end of last year but they sure cost me a hefty sum..

lastly, i would like to introduce you to the long term inhabitant of my room..

wahaha.. he's so famous that most of you would know him.. well, you can see how bored i was staying at home today..

ANNOUCEMENT

i just realised i ONLY have ONE week of break from work before i enter poly..

30 March- work ends
1-8 April- BREAK
9-11 April- Freshmen orientation
13-15 April- PS Camp @ AJC
17-20 April- School of Applied Science orientation

offical school starts on the 23rd April.. i don't get it as to why they need 2 orientations.. isn't it the same? just show you the school and bring you around.. actually there is a 3 day workshop one and a stayover one for the Freshmen orientation.. i thought i would just go for the stayover one since i live so far away but the date for the stayover one happens to be from the 12-14 April which means i wouldn't be able to go for PS camp.. haiz~ so forget it just go for the 3 day workshop one..

haiz~ i wanna meet all my friends before i go in lehz.. after i go in then it would be hard le.. haiz~

sunrise vs rugby

some photos taken last sunday.. i can't believe i woke up at 5am to shoot it at punngol beach! luckily my parents drove me there.. but the sunrise wasn't as beautiful as john's photos promised.. haiz~ maybe i'm going back again..

HAPPY BDAE JESSIE!!!

in the morning while the rest of jc graduates are at NTU/NUS, i was with my vampire knight cosers attending a make-up session because i find that i have no need to be at those uni open houses.. well, it was fun! i was stunned by the amazing mascara which made my short eyelashes so long.. lol.. 3 of us were wearing the jap school-girl uniform and a freaky thing happened when we walked across the road.. an uncle in a harvey norman van stopping at the traffic light WHISTLED at us.. OMGOMGOMG..

after that, i went to orchard to meet the rest for jessie's bdae celebration.. jessie finally saw me in the jap school-girl uni.. lol..

ya, that's me..

we saw hp and hinho!!! and their class at nydc.. and hp was going crazy over my outfit.. apparently i look more like a taiwanese (she say i look like cydni wang) than a japanese.. ok here's a pic with hinho..



i'm not allowed to post the pic with py and hp due to objections from hp.. lol.. py was ultra-shocked by my dressing.. she was like O-O!!!!! i should wear gothic lolita to scare her next.. muhahaha.. (eh but no $$$ to buy the nice lolita dress which was $100+.. sobbx)

we wanna give jessie an extreme make-over so me and yuning came out with the gothic punk outfit.. we expected her to freak out but did not expect that she would allowed us to do what we want.. saying that since we bought le might as well.. oh mianz.. i feel so gulity coming up with the idea.. =x

we waited half an hour for the seats at fish n co.. and we had our dinner! and terence actually came to say "HI!" and then "Bye!".. i hope i didn't snatch py of her food! xD and she revealed to me something shocking she saw at ntu..

i guess it's more of the girl than the guy.. we don't wanna "lose" her to somebody we think is unworthy.. but it's her choice anyway.. hope she chooses wisely..

i'm weird

first, my sis says my dressing sense is weird..

second, i got AAAB and refuses to sign up for a local uni course..

third, i'm excited over being accepted in TP despite it being at the other end of this island..

fourth, i'm more worried about getting photos for Canon Young Photographer Competition than getting the GPA for scholarship application (AVA didn't ask for it anyway)

fifth, my bubu is more important than anything else in the world xD

oh yesh, JAE posting results are out today and as expected, i got into the veterinary technology course.. and it's barely a week after the A level results were out, so the AVA application is not even closed, lest that the results for the application would be out.. looks like i have to attend poly first!

anyway, swiftwing is nice to have his friend who obtained the AVA scholarship 5 years ago answer questions about the scholarship.. being an AVA vet means there is reduced animal contact.. hmmx.. and one difficult question that an interviewer may ask:"What are your strengths and weaknesses?"

AAAB B3

i guess that's good.. B3 for GP was a O.O.. couldn't believe it.. it's a MIRACLE.. NEVER in my 2 years of JC life did i get a B3 before.. the closest was a B4.. maybe it happens all the time for my languages.. A2 for english for O levels was a miracle too..

i can't stand people complaining about their 4As when i have got 3.. ok techinally only 3 As are counted but 4As LOOKS good! really good! and you get to go back on college day and receive prize lehz!

i have got this photog friend whose 2 friends got the AVA scholarship 7 years ago.. and they both had AAAB!! hahax.. i wonder if there is anything with AAAB.. anyway i'm going poly first.. if AVA accepts me then i'll just drop out of it..
