actually nth much happened to me dis b'dae.. coz i guess it was rather last min coz everybody tot i wld go to sch today for tt sexuality tok thingy.. (heard they screened sum abortion video).. ok here's wad happened..
on fri, 09 celeb wif 6 muffins and n candle.. hahax.. darn creative n nice!! they stil owe me presents!! den aft tt had PS.. meeting wif lsg.. lucky not VERY long.. aft tt had fun in e darkrm.. solarisation, zoom burst n double exposure.. i wonder if i cld stil rmb how to do all but i guess i need more make-up tut.. hahax.. aft tt py sum how managed to persuade me to stay for dinner which was pizza.. they bought a peanut butter cake which jq says it tastes lyk mua chee.. hmmx.. unique cake.. ps gav me a donald duck on estacy pills anyway.. hahax.. it's juz those kinda toys tt keeps nodding/shaking its head.. aft e celeb stayed to watch mr n mrs smith tho part of my heart was wanting to go back home n mug bio.. watched wif py, zj, zq n hp in e adui coz it's e sch's movy nite.. e best thing tt happened to me today had to b tt i was able to watch 《仙剑奇侠传》。。 逍遥哥哥 is so darn shuai lahz.. oh mianz!!!! n 灵儿 so cute n chio.. perfect match mianz.. hahax.. totally LUV tt drama.. e plot's pretty sweet n nice too tho i noe e beatuy's gonna eventually die in e hero's arms.. it's been quite a while since i've been so attracted to a tv drama.. e last one was 《僵尸》 ba.. yuppx.. 《仙剑奇侠传》is darn nice!!! i guess wad attracted me was of coz 逍遥哥哥 n e mythical, magical n romatic plot.. so MUZ watch kkz?!

been rather bz wif SSEF report since tues.. tot of juz withdrawing fr it budden i tot i shldn't let clement ong down.. i was rather impressed wif myself for completing e 19-pg report in 3 day-wif help fr my mentor of coz..
today was e submittion date.. went back to e lab early in e morning to finish wad's undone.. my mentor was nice enuff to come n help me complete wad's left.. it's juz basically e bibliography added n sum sentence structure he edited.. i'm pretty amazed by dis prog 'end note' tt can site ref automatically for u.. it's juz lyk u d/l sum sci journals online den wif a click add e ref for tt article in ur report!!! wif all e correct format n all.. u dun even hav to memorise e format n type each ref one by one..
aft tt i finally got to print e report.. oh mianz.. 4 copies+1 for karuna.. 19x5=65 pages.. OMG!! n yes.. paper was flying all over e place.. i was glad tt it wasn't my printer tt was printing those report coz it wld hav taken DAYS.. made full use of e laser printer n papers at e lab.. heex..
aft all tt i walked outta e lab feeling tt e burden was finally of my back when i suddenly rmb tt i left my thumbdrive back in e lab.. so ran back in e blazing hot sun (yuppx.. it din rain today.. of all days) to retrieve it.. but obviously there was sth more tt i 4got..
upon reaching e sci ctr.. i saw qi xuan n perry were aso arranging their reports to submit it.. so i checked e approval forms wif qi xuan.. n found tt one's missing!!! OMG!! wad's more it wld requires karuna's signature.. all e blame goes to e careless me.. i shld hav read everything more properly!!! haiz~ wad is there to do at tt time but to juz hack n hand in e report.. den when i was handing in i suddenly realised sth.. i left e cd i burnt wif e soft copy of e file in e lab!!!! ran to kodak at je to buy a blank cd budden there's no comp at e sci ctr tt can burn e cd.. e malay lady at e counter was calling me silly n trying desperately to help me.. den another guy told me tt those photo developing shop cld help.. lyk hello.. tt's where i got e blank cd.. y dun u tell me earlier?
so dragged qi xuan n most imptly his wallet over to kodak.. i'm quite broke aft purchasing e cd.. i dun hav much to start wif anyway.. so he paid $2 for burning one pathetic 1.66MB report into a 700MB cd.. ARGH!!! walked all e way back again to submit e report.. sorta solve e prob of e forms by attaching a note to my report saying tt e form will come only by fax on mon.. (call albert back at e lab to help me print a form n write n note to karuna) hope they'll accept it tho submittion deadline is today..
aft waiting for perry to complete.. we went out for lunch on e way we saw sum chi high guys wif a plastic bag full of reports fr their sch.. so much for kiasu-ism..
on e way to e foodcourt, qi xuan was in directly shooting perry for saying tt e final submittion time is 2pm when it's lyk 6pm.. so he went on to complain tt he had to wake up sooo early for tt.. lol.. 1pm is his usual waking-up time.. n tt guy actually skipped 3days of sch to complete e report when he started on e report 2wks ago n he has a partner.. tt's y i'm impressed wif myself.. hax..
reached e foodcourt n qi xuan was kind n nice enuff to buy me food n carried it to e table.. rmb tt i dun hav any $$$.. $1++ left only.. qi xuan was saying tt he n perry cld each DONATE a few cents for me to buy sum $1.90 rice.. lolx.. ok in e end he bought me jap food lahz.. den aft tt he bought his.. nope he had fishball noodles not jap food.. he even waited for my food to b ready n bring it to my table b4 going to buy his..
despite him complaining tt he's being pushed ard by me lyk he's my maid, he's rather nice to buy n serve me everything.. qi xuan's e nicest guy i met mainz.. heex.. =) anyway, i've been rather unreasonable n rude too lahz.. so sorry, qi xuan.. n thanx for letting me use ur phone (rmb tt my phone is STILL serviving.. ok sorry abt e $7 entrance fare which we discovered tt it was no longer valid when we reached e zoo.. so we (or rather only ostaf) ended up taking brochures of places of interest all over singapore.. ostaf's learning how to org a tour btw.. hahax.. nah.. it's an assignment for his chi A.. in e end we took 927 fr cck to e zoo to den back to cck.. FOR FUN wif me carrying all e equip.. telephoto n stuff.. ARGH!! i muz get sumone hu's willing to spend $15 to go wif me e nx time to shoot.. (ostaf n gang r non-photographic ppl)

..The Chronicles of Narina: the lion, the book and the movie..
watched narnia on fri wif py coz no one else wans to watch as they feel tt it's 'not nice'.. till now only one person said tt it's nice which is glenn.. n i hafda agree wif him.. in fact, e movie is nicer den e bk..
firstly, e movie slowly brings e Penesive children into accepting that they e 'chosen ones' which was not well illustrated in e bk.. it began wif Peter allowing Lucy to b e leader as a form of making up to her (wif Susan grumbling n worrying e bkgrd of coz) den, they began on a quest for Edmund which aft finding him, they gradually submit to their fates tt they r e saviours of Narnia..
secondly, each character was better crafted in e movie than in e bk.. u can clearly c Peter's leadership, Susan's worry-pot nature opps.. i mean to say mother-like.. heex.., Edmund's treachery n self-sarcifice at e end n lastly Lucy's innonence..
thirdly, e battle sences were MAGNIFICANT!!! i suddenly tot i was watching Kingdom of Heaven of tt it wasn't so gory of coz.. again, Peter's leadership quality was carefully brought out thru his clever use of battle tactics.. the minus point was of coz much wasn't shown of wad happened in e witch's castle where Aslan was litatery breathing life into the stone statues.. this was much much more elaborated in e bk.. i din even get to c e Gaint Rumblebuffin!!!
fourthly, e attaining of e thrones was MAGNIFICANT!!!! (sorry i can't find any other words) oh mianz.. they hav such wonderful costumes and e castle looks so white n pearly.. it's lyk its completely outta a fairy tale!!! with all e Narniarians watching it looked so darn grand.. n if u din notice there was a scene which showed e lioness (lion in e bk) which he 'disfigured' using e lead pencil when he 1st entered e witch's castle.. hahax.. it stil beared e spects n mostache he had drawn.. n oh e chairs they were seated on bear e symbols of themselves.. sword n shield for Peter n blah blah.. tho i din get to c wad's on Edmund's..
lastly, Aslan rox!!! hahax.. tt CGI lion looks so real tt i tink Lucy n Susan can actually 'feel' it!! OMG!!! so darn nice n magnificant!!! tt lion truly reflects its title-King of e Woods.. well, it was e picture of Aslan tt prompted me to pick up The Lion, the Witch, the Wardrobe which my neighbour discarded 6yrs ago (ya.. it's e 1st-published-ver-in-1980 so it's sorta torn n tattered n is as old.. mayb older den me!!) n since den i've been 'absorbed' into e world of Narnia.. (no i din walk into e wardrobe..hahax..)
Derivations fr e bk..
1) there were no icy river tt Lucy nearly drowned
2) it was e Beavers not Mr Tumnus hu told e children wadeva they r supposed to say upon Aslan's leave
3) it wasn't shown tt Lucy n Susan played wif Aslan as if he was 'a tamed pussy cat' on his night of his sarcifice..
4) Edmund did not see Mr Tumnus when he entered e castle
5) e children n e Beavers were olreadi outta of e Beavers' dam when e wolf's came (they used a clever strategy to escape)
6) they slept in e hole (which is supposed to b Beavers' hiding place during bad times) where they met Santa instead of juz happen to hide in it to escape e 'White Witch'
7) there wasn't a Fox hu helped them in e bk
8) Lucy n Susan did not inform Aslan's camp abt his 'death' at all
there may b others tt i din noticed but well here's alot olreadi.. but i seriously feel tt e movie is beta.. probably it's bcoz tt it's a children's bk tt not much insight was given into e character's tots (unlike harry potter tho it's omniscient, much of harry's tots were described).. there weren't much elaboration on e battle too since it ended abruptly when Aslan came back fr e castle n killed e witch.. Prehaps, they shld hav an adult ver which much more details n imagery instead of spaces to fill up wif ur own imagination.. but since Lewis is olreadi dead i tink tt wun happen..
if u dun lyk Narnia, sorry for dis long n3 abt it.. i'm a complete fan of Narnia going crazy over it when i was Pri6 together wif Ronson.. i rmb i borrowed e 3-in-1 ver, which was as thick as an oxford dictionary n finished it within a wk.. so basically i finished e chronicles, but remembering them is of coz another story.. (hey! Pri 6 is lyk 5 yrs ago!!) wif e renewed interest in them, i guess i shld start wif e 3 bks i owned.. (none of which i bought) aft i get my bk prize in Feb, i shall buy all my 'dream books' which include e Narnia Chronicles & Mediator 6 (but tt'll of coz depend on how much $$$ i received)!!! =D
